The APSS is working to develop Nepali youths and students capacity for their engagement in national and local level policy influence and process, and creating critical mass of Nepali youth and students towards sustainable peace, democracy and development by stimulating them in careful deliberation of political, social and development issues, and their possible resolutions by exploring their innovative ideas.

Leadership Skill Development Program (LSDP) is a capacity-building and leadership development program. It provides intensive training on communications, media, club formation, public speaking and leadership. This program also aims at raising awareness of social and national issues

Renewable Energy Test Station (RETS) is an autonomous body governed by “RENEWABLE ENERGY TEST STATION RULES 2063” framed under clause 31 of Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) Act 2048. Previously it was known as Solar Energy Test Station (SETS). It is located inside the premises of Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), Khumaar, Lalitpur, Nepal.
